This is the quartet at Bloom 2016

Cork City Wedding Quartet, founded by Evelyn Grant and Gerry Kelly , has performed for weddings all over Ireland and in almost every setting. Available for church weddings, civil ceremonies, engagement parties, drinks receptions and evening meals.

They have given surprise lunchtime concerts in canteens, performed at birthday parties, and have devised unique programmes for special events ranging from the visit of Mayor Juliani to Cork to the Freedom of the City for Mary Robinson. They perform a programme that ranges from Bach to the Beatles and probably have the most extensive repertoire of wedding music in Europe. Past performances include a special tribute concert to the staff of the Evening Echo for their support in the campaign for the new Cork School of Music, receptions for the friends of the Crawford Gallery in Fota House and numerous collaborations with musicians ranging from Sir James Galway to Tommy Fleming. The quartet is made up of members of the Cork Pops Orchestra. They also perform as the RTÉ lyric fm quartet, performing in schools, libraries,care homes and Institutes of technology nationwide.
