Ranagri (pronounced Ran-ag-rye) have recently completed their much-awaited first album at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios and are currently touring the UK and Ireland.
The London-based band features Donal Rogers (Vocals, Guitar), Tad Sargent(Bodhran/Bouzouki), Jea
Individually, they have appeared in concert and on soundtracks with the likes of Peter Gabriel, Jonny Greenwood, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, Katrina Train, and on recordings for RTE and BBC.
Ranagri fuse original song writing and vibrant instrumentals to produce a highly charged mix of folk, rock and world music.
Donal Rogers,(Vocals, Guitar), is currently co-writing an album with Tony Christie;Eliza Marshall (Flute/Whistles), has spent the last 3 years touring with Peter Gabriel;Tad Sargent (Bodhran/Bouzouki), is one of the most sought after young musicians on the London-Irish Trad scene; Jean Kelly (Harp), originally from Cork, is currently touring with Paloma Faith.
